Golf Bio
Bob Kurtz has always been
active in golf.
The former sportscaster with CNN and ESPN is a competitive golfer
having qualified for the Champions Tour and other significant events. In
2007 he competed in the final qualifying for the Senior British Open in Muirfield,
Scotland. In 2008 he finished in the top thirty money-winners on the
Sunbelt Senior Professional Golf Tour and qualified for the
season-ending tournament. His love for golf is genuine and passionate.

Bob played college golf and as an amateur he won 53 tournaments around
the country. As a professional he has competed internationally in such
events as the Panama Open and the Senior British Open qualifying. He is
the winner of the Madrid Open, the Dallas Gold Cup, the Orange Bowl
Classic and numerous other tournaments. His favorite tournament is the
Hall of Fame Seniors Classic in Cooperstown, New York. In 2010, he
recorded a top five finish.

British Senior Open Qualifying - Craigelaw,
Scotland He
has teamed with his daughter Beth, an LPGA teaching pro in West Palm
Bench, to win many Parent-Child and Mixed Team competitions. In addition,
he has qualified for the Remax National Long Drive Contest and is a
member of the Long Drivers of America.

St. Andrews 2007 As
a golf instructor, Bob has three best selling golf videos. "Picture
Perfect Golf" deals with imagery and visualization in golf. "How to
Break 90" (with daughter Beth) has been one of the top
instructional videos not only in the United States but internationally.
"How to Break 90" has been recognized by Golf Monthly (the top European
Golf magazine) as the outstanding video for the high handicapper. In the
United States, Golf Magazine gave the video five stars.

But it is in his success
as a "Golf Ironman" that Bob has received the most acclaim. His
stamina, ball-striking strength, and low scoring over hours of play has made his golf
